To grow the company sales, increase profitability by developing business within the existing customer base, through new customers, new markets and/or new products and services
Responsibilities
Meet or exceed agreed personal monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals, profit margins and activity targets
Develop new revenue streams from new products and services, while optimizing income from existing lines within existing customer base
Demonstration of company products to prospective customers and discussions with them concerning the ways in which the products solve their problems and meet their requirements
Prepares sales proposals using existing templates as required by the customer/prospect
Gathers intelligence on customers and competitors
Generates leads for possible sales
Relentless, ruthless, forensic follow-up of all sales opportunities
Act in accordance with company work ethic, standards and protocol set out in the Company manual

Education/Experience Required:
Minimum of 2 years proven experience in customer account management and business development
Experience in using CRM, ideally with Salesforce and Phocas but not essential
Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with the sale of consumable items to B2B End Users is essential
Experience with cleaning and janitorial products or sector desirable but not essential
