Quarter 2 kicked off with our ‘Active April’ campaign to support our Charity of the Year, The Movement Centre.

Staff were challenged to complete 1,000 kilometres across April to raise awareness for The Movement Centre, with Arrow pledging £500 to support The Movement Centre for every personal target met.

Following the challenge launch on 1st April, staff step counts skyrocketed, with the team hitting our 1,000 kilometre target within the first week of April! Throughout the month, we were blown away by the support we received from those participating the challenge, including some stiff inter-departmental competition (with just 46 kilometres separating 1st and 2nd place).

Overall, we travelled a whopping 3,137 kilometres across April, helping drive awareness of the importance of activity in our daily lives, and the impact the Movement Centre has in helping children gain movement skills, and become more independent in their daily lives.

About Our Charity of the Year: The Movement Centre

The Movement Centre provides life-changing children’s physiotherapy, providing targeted training to help children who have Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome or other diagnoses to achieve new skills   through increased strength and control of their movement.

As our nominated Charity of the Year, we’ve set ourselves a target of raising £1,000 for The Movement Centre throughout 2023 to support purchase of vital therapy equipment for use in Targeted Therapy sessions. We’re also committed to raising awareness of the charity through internal activities, awareness session and movement-themed initiatives.
